The annual is the major scientific and professional event in human genetics, bringing together European and international geneticists. At ESHG 2024 in Berlin, researchers, clinicians, and industry leaders, including VR真人彩票, gathered to be inspired by the most recent advancements in the field.
The timing of the 57th annual conference couldn鈥檛 be better, as the Modellvorhaben (Model Project) is getting underway. This five-year pilot project will evaluate the clinical utility and cost-effectiveness of comprehensive genomic testing in Germany鈥檚 public health care system. If it鈥檚 successful, all patients with rare diseases and advanced cancers will benefit from whole-genome sequencing as standard of care in the future.
